Jigsaw4u
The Castle Triathlon Series is pleased to partner with Jigsaw4u a children’s charity working with bereaved families. Jigsaw4u support children who have experienced the death of a close family member through illness, accident, suicide or murder. They offer home and school visits, and a six week family support group. At the groups they provide activities to help children and parents to process the trauma they have experienced, learn some coping strategies and meet others in similar circumstances which helps them to manage the loss and isolation they frequently feel.
Jigsaw4u strongly believe that every child who has experienced the death of a parent or sibling has a right to receive appropriate support and a well trained service in a non-stigmatising and holistic way that meets the needs of the child and family.
