Children's open water swim training session
We are pleased to be able to offer a number of open water swim sessions for Children. This is a great opportunity for those who have not swum in open water before and would like to build confidence and technique before the race. These are sessions of are usually held on a Sunday morning around 3-4 weeks before the events. The session lasts for 30 mins including 20 mins swimming and cost £15.00. We only have 60 places available per session, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Duncan Scott, an experienced Level 3 triathlon coach, will be taking the sessions which will include:
- How to see where you are going when you are swimming
- How to swim around a course
- What is a race start like
- Practice taking your wetsuit off quickly (if wearing one)
- Having fun!
We are pleased to confirm a date for the Hever Castle junior open water swimming training - this will be Sunday 8th September and can be booked online when you log in.
