Training Programmes

Thetrilife.com team of coaches have developed 3 training plan options for you – to suit different training needs whether you are a first time triathlete or Bastion athlete or an experienced athlete looking to qualify for an AG team.

Option 1: Training programmes 12 – 24 weeks of training

Transform Your Swimming in 12 Weeks

The course develops your skill by giving you a range of fundamental drills at the right time in your development This program is for you if you want to swim more efficiently, swim faster and be a better triathlete swimmer in 2017. Click here for more information.

Transform Your Core in 12 Weeks

This program is ideal is you want to improve your core and tri specific muscle strength, improve your swim, bike and run performance and be a stronger more durable triathlete in 2017. You will have 3 central strength sessions to complete each week as well as some short additional strength drills to do as part of some of your weekly swim, bike and run sessions. Option 3: The Castle Triathlon Series Masters program powered by thetrilife.com

The Castle Triathlon Series Masters triathlon programme, powered by thetrilife.com, is a training program that will guide you through your triathlon career from your first event to your first long distance or GB Age Group event.

Year 1 CTS Masters is for those athletes doing their first sprint distance or standard distance. Year 2 CTS Masters will improve your performance over standard distance or prepare you for your first middle distance or 70.3 race. By Year 3 you are ready to become a long distance triathlete or reach your best performances over shorter distances. Year 3 CTS Masters is the right level of preparation for triathletes with potential for Age Group qualification over standard distance or if you are doing your first long distance event.

As with our other programmes, your training is delivered via email – and is tailored to your priority race dates – so that you peak at the right time! The written plan is supported by relevant training articles, a team of coaches an email away – or you can just pick up the phone. And of course CTS Masters athletes are invited to join our other Masters athletes in our closed Facebook group.

With our CTS Masters triathlon programme there is no contract – you set up a monthly payment from your credit card / debit card / PayPal account but can cancel this at any time. This is ideal if you would like to train throughout the season, and be ready for your CTS event and any other triathlons that you decide to take part in this year. There is a £5 first month trial to see if it is right for you and then CTS athletes – those taking part in a CTS race in 2017 – will pay £25 per month thereafter – until you choose to cancel. (Normal price for non CTS athletes is £30 per month).
