What I get: Starts 24 March 2014 A 16 week training plan for first time Iron distance athletes or athletes wishing to be more competitive over this distance.  A full training support package including advice on mental preparation, nutritional strategies and pacing.  Choose between 6 sessions a week or 9 sessions a week.  Email support from thetrilife.com coaches.  Membership to thetrilife.com Clubhouse, membership to a BTF registered club – thetrilife.com.  A monthly newsletter with training advice.

Castle Triathlon Series Training Programmes and Training Days

The Castle Triathlon Series have a well established and very popular training platform run by the elite coaches from thetrilife.com who can support you through the race season. Castle Triathlon Series and thetrilife training thetrilife.com is the largest provider of triathlon coaching services in the UK whose coaches include former elite athletes such as Richard Jones and Andrea Whitcombe, the 2000 Olympic team coach Bill Black and the 2008 Olympic team coach Dan Salcedo. 

For first time triathletes our goal is to fully prepare you for your first event – this is meant to be fun!  For more experienced athletes our coaches will be on hand to help you improve your race performances. To help you reach your goals we have a number of training packages available.

Training Programmes

thetrilife.com coaches have prepared training programes specifically for the Castle Triathlon Series and tailored to your level of experience.

When you buy a training programme from thetrilife.com you will get as much coach support via email as you need from their experienced coaches.  On top of this, your programme is delivered via the internet so is accessible wherever you are AND your sessions are emailed to you on a daily basis  – no scraps of paper to carry around! Finally, you will have access to an online training diary so that you can track, analyse and monitor your training progress.

Children's Open Water & Transition Training Sessions

We are pleased to be able to offer a number of open water swim & transition sessions for Children. This is a great opportunity for those who have not swum in open water before or are apprehensive about the transition and would like to build confidence and technique before the race. These are sessions of are usually held on a Sunday morning around 3-4 weeks before the events. The session lasts for 30 mins and cost £15.00. We only have 60 places available per day, so book now to avoid disappointment.

Price: £15 per half hour session. £25 for an openwater and transition session (1hr)
