Yorkshire based premium brewer, Timothy Taylor’s, with 160 years of beer-making heritage and famous for Landlord, the classic pale ale, has joined the Castle Triathlon Series line-up as Official Festival Partner, bringing atmospheric beer tents to each of the UK multisport festival villages in Summer 2019.
Timothy Taylor’s will bring their award-winning ales and picket-fenced beer gardens to the Tenth Anniversary Castle Howard Triathlon and Cholmondeley Castle Triathlon as well as Castle Triathlon Series’ multisport festivals at Hever Castle, which celebrated 10 Years in 2018.
Giving triumphant triathletes and their supporters alike a chance to kick-back and relax with a pint in hand, the Timothy Taylor’s beer tents will provide the ultimate rest and recovery area. All set within the stunning grounds of one of the Castle Triathlon Series’ historic castles, multisport athletes will now be able to enjoy live bands and music, a full street-food market and retail village, yoga sessions, prize giving ceremonies, as well as celebrating with a pint.
Brian Adcock, Castle Triathlon Series Race Director, comments: “For 10 Years Castle Triathlon Series has enjoyed hosting sporting festivals at some of the country’s most historic and iconic castles. We’re delighted to be welcoming Timothy Taylor’s, a brewery with 160 years of heritage and expertise, as they bring their well-crafted and award-winning beers to our events, helping us to lift our wrap-around festivals to the next level whilst celebrating all our athletes’ achievements over the triathlon and multisport season.”
Timothy Taylor’s can’t put the unique taste of their beers down to any single thing. It’s the result of years of hard work, skill and doing things the hard way because they think it makes the difference. Taking extra time, care and pride in traditional hands-on brewing, and making no compromises when it comes to ingredients.
Four key natural ingredients go to make up that Taylor’s taste: pure Knowle Natural Spring water from the site of the brewery; whole leaf hops; Golden Promise barley and a unique 2000th generation yeast. The finest ingredients, and a brewery process refined over 160 years means that Timothy Taylor’s beers are known for their depth of flavour, clarity and purity, making their beers a perfect toast to sporting success. All for that taste of Taylor’s.
