Primary schools each bring groups of 30 KS2 children (don’t worry if you are from a smaller school, we can match you up with a similar sized group) to the beautiful Hever Castle for a half-day of triathlon training and half-day of cultural learning about the historic venue and setting. All of the activities are curriculum linked helping schools achieve their educational needs, whilst keeping the children healthy and inspired (by the world’s fastest growing sport). Bikes are provided for all children and elite triathletes join the training team to share insights with those attending.
Hever Castle has hosted this event since 2016, and we plan to make it even better for 2021. Schools pick a day to suit them from our list, the cost is £15 (+VAT) per child attending and that includes all 8 training sessions across the castle culture activities and the triathlon training. The days activities are geared around a group of 30 in a session and children can be accompanied by teachers or parents.
