A few things to keep in mind:-
Please be courteous to fellow competitors and especially our local residents.
Please don’t drop litter anywhere on the course (litter droppers will be disqualification).
Be aware of the BTF rules to avoid disappointment. Click here to read.
Relay members must arrive together, go through registration and rack in transition together.
If you see another competitor in trouble (accident or other), please follow these steps:-
- Stop, assess the situation but keep your distance!
- If the situation is not serious but still needs to be called in to Event Control, please continue on the next marshal point and relay the message. Make a note of the bib number. Ask the participant to give the “thumbs up” to other passing competitors so they don’t stop unnecessarily.
- If medical assistance or other help is required, flag down a passing competitor or member of the public to relay a message on to the next Marshal on the course. Give a brief description including the bib number. All marshals will have a radio or contact number for Event Control
- Please wait with the the person until help arrives before continuing on your course.
